Oven cleaning is the job no one wants to do and many people put it off, but the carbon deposits in your oven create a fire risk if they are not cleaned. Bad odours and smoke fumes from your grill/ oven can be irritating and unpleasant.

Our experience in professional oven cleaning at Stockport Oven Cleaning has allowed us to develop a highly effective approach with fantastic results using eco-friendly products so you can use your oven straight away after we leave.

Oven clean and Range clean

All oven doors stripped to allow cleaning between the layers of glass.
All oven grills and racks are removed along with light bulb covers and door seals. These are then soaked in the heated dip tank in our van to remove carbon and grease.
Removal of self clean oven liners - we clean behind these. We clean the roof, the fan, the back plate and behind the back plate.
Oven control knobs are removed to clean behind them including cleaning the knobs themselves.
A final polish and then we put your oven back together.
All parts that can be removed are done so to ensure a thorough professional clean of your oven.

Hobs - Gas

The black hob disks and burner grates are removed and soaked in the dip tank.
The aluminium burners are polished cleaning off any burnt on carbon and grease.
Control knobs are removed to clean behind them including cleaning the knobs themselves.

Hobs - Electric and Ceramic

We use a non-scratch specialist hob cleaner for glass and ceramic hobs to remove all grease and carbon.
Control knobs are removed to clean behind them including cleaning the knobs themselves.
Finally polished.

Extractor clean

All possible parts removed to ensure a deep clean.
Aluminium filters are soaked in the heated dip tank which removes grease and odours which can get trapped in-between the layers.
Where possible bulb covers are removed to clean the reflective part above the bulb.
Paper filters are replaced.
Extractor hoods are degreased, cleaned and polished.
All glass cleaned and polished.

AGAs / Stanleys / Rayburns

The AGA style of oven is very similar to a normal oven clean, however the hot plates and door interiors etc require specialist cleaning!

The top side of the hot plates are degreased, cleaned, polished, and carbon deposits are removed from the enamel areas.
The underside of the hot plates are polished back to the original lustre.
Hot plate rings are removed and heavy deposits cleaned off.
Inside ovens are cleaned and the inside of the door polished.
Chimneys are degreased and polished.
All oven grills and racks are removed, these are then soaked in the heated dip tank in our van to remove carbon and grease.
A final polish with enamel safe products and then we put your oven back together.

BBQs and Microwaves

Full degrease to remove fat and carbon deposits.
All grills removed and treated in our dip tank.
Stainless steel paste used to polish to a high finish.
Stainless steel oil applied to protect from rust and to stop grease and carbon sticking.
